As a global, multi-faith organization, committed to improving lives through peaceful climate action worldwide, GreenFaith decries and grieves the use of violence as a means of conflict resolution and the related increase, in countries worldwide, of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia.
The fighting in Gaza and Israel is a reminder of the devastating effects of war, including thousands of casualties and the captivity of and cruelty toward innocent people.
We call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire throughout Palestine and Israel, the return of all hostages, and the institution of diplomatic and civil processes that will assure enduring justice, dignity and security for Palestinians and Israelis. Anything short of this is insufficient.
