Jack M. Gorman, M.D., Executive Committee, is CEO and Chief Scientific Officer of Franklin Behavioral Healthcare, providing expert guidance to health care organizations in order to improve the efficacy and cost effectiveness of mental health care. He was on the faculty of Columbia University, where he served as Klingenstein Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Professor of Neuroscience at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Jack has authored or co-authored more than 400 scientific articles and chapters, was continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health for his research from 1981 until 2006, and has won numerous awards for his research and service to psychiatry.
