The Ground for Hope Initiative

Environmental Education & Training for Seminarians, Clergy & Lay Leaders

Around the globe, religious leaders are calling their followers to protect the earth.

But - most seminarians and clergy and lay leaders have received no education or training on religious-environmentalism.

GreenFaith's Ground for Hope Initiative is changing that.

GreenFaith is organizing Ground for Hope education and training events around the US.  Each event provides religious leaders with the resources they need to become religious-enviornmental leaders.

Workshop topics include sacred texts, theologies and the earth; scientific perspectives; environmental justice and advocacy; ‘green’ facility management; religious education and worship; and more.
